Every year Shipston Scout Group helps over 120 young people to enjoy new adventures, to experience the outdoors, interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential. We have two Beaver Colonies (ages 6–8), two Cub Packs (ages 8–10½) and two Scout Troop (ages 10½–14). All sessions are lead by our enthusiastic and capable team of volunteers at Shipston Scout Hut, weekly during school term time.
- Beaver Colony 1: Tues, 5.15 – 6.30pm.
- Cub Pack 1: Tues, 6.45 – 8.15pm.
- Cubs Pack 2: Wed, 6.00 – 7.30pm.
- Scouts Troop 2: Wed 7.30 – 9.00pm
- Beaver Colony 2: Fri, 5.15 – 6.30pm.
- Scouts Troop 1: Fri, 7.30 – 9.00pm.
Shipston-on-Stour is a town and civil parish on the River Stour about 10 miles (16 km) south of Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire. With a growing population of just over 5000 people, Shipston-on-Stour is the home of Shipston Scout Group. We have approximately 80 members aged between six and 14 years of age. We belong to the Stratford-upon-Avon Scout district, which in turn belongs to Warwickshire County Scouts who have a massive 5,000 members.
